Snakehead to debut with "Bar Bar Bar"

For a bit of a backstory, click here.

Now for those who don't know, Snakehead is the junior male group to Crayon Pop... This is what they look like.

Wait, these guys actually look decent... You sure they are Crayon Pop's junior group?
Chrome Entertainment has suffered from what I like to refer to as "Obsessive Memetic Mutation Disorder" in which they found something that is popular and decided to squeeze the fuck out of it's livelihood and completely ruin any value that the song had in the first place.

Now while it is admirable for publicity, they have flogged the dead horse of "Bar Bar Bar" to the point where it annoys the fuck out of the fans that were enamored to it in the first place, the artists that sing it and yours truly, a humble blogger. Quite frankly, Bing Bing is a much better song that is seriously underplayed in comparison.

However this isn't new to K-Pop, people used to badger the fuck out of Gee (SNSD), Abcadabra (BEG), Honey (JYP), Sorry Sorry (Super Junior), Tell Me (Wonder Girls) and even Gangnam Style.

What sets this issue apart from all the other songs I've mentioned is that the company has gone as far as to make that the debut song for their boy group...

Here's the problem with this idea.

1) This group's concept is completely different to that of their seniors, they are a much more serious boy group with a dark appeal to them (Snakehead, anyone?), so obviously this song won't work with them.

2) Bar Bar Bar is overplayed enough without having some nugu group add it to their fucking discography.

3) Recycling songs and giving them to other people in a genre that is filled with controversy about the fact that some title tracks sound similar to songs that the general populace of Korea have probably never even heard of, is just begging for a scandal for both your new group to fight through AND for Crayon Pop to add their fucking collection of scandals... Seriously, these girls would make Rain look like a saint for the amount of shit they went through.

My point is that Chrome Entertainment need to get their heads out of their asses about this fucking song and give them something COOL and ORIGINAL to sing...

Sorry, Cool and Original made me think of this.

Let's just hope that 2014 will be good to these guys... And that Crayon Pop will release a new song very bloody soon, promoting that shit over and over is not doing well for their sanity.
